Jordan Diamond

Looks like he is going to cut his list or choose a school. Hoping that the "shock" is Iowa!!

his tweets

"Wow... idk how this happened... time to shock the world"

"The final cuts are coming sooner then expected"

That name is almost as bad as "Steele Jantz".

ohio hawkeye reported a score wrong - he apologizes to diamond for that, and diamond responds with 'its all good'. or something like that.

Re: Jordan Diamond

I think it's between Iowa and Michigan. Just a theory I'm trying to work out.

Not even close.

Steele... yeah, over-the-top Dad trying to make a testosterone statement.

Jordan... there's plenty of them out there. Diamond...is his family name, not a "choice".

Michigan has already signed 5 OL and one of them is a 5 Star.

I'll go one further .... Michigan has 5 OL commits ... plus they have a DT commit with an OT body AND they have a TE commit with an OT body.

Lastly, Michigan appears to have a door open and waiting for O'Brien. That suggests to me that the DT guy (Godin) could eventually get moved to OT if he gets beaten out by Pipkens and/or O'Brien.

Homer, are you hearing anything more about Diamond? I thought he was a heavy Michigan lean early, but from what I've heard lately things may have changed. Thanks for the insight.

There are rumors swirling around that are suggesting that his grades and/or test-scores might not qualify him at most of the Big 10 schoools.

Fortunately for Iowa, the coaches always are pretty laid back. We'll continue to recruit him and stand by him and give him a chance to get his test scores and/or grades in order.

Of course, if he can't get his scores in order, he might end up landing in SEC territory after all. Thus, if he ends up going to Arkansas at the end of the day ... I think that we will then know the reason why.

We stuck by Coe ... I don't see why we wouldn't also stick by Diamond. Hopefully Diamond can get himself qualified.
