We have speed we just don't utilize it. Iowa should have blitzed every damn time today, would have been more effective than what we saw. 44 points to ISU.. Wow! Pathetic.

DJL is right on the money as well, having some NUTS would have been nice.

Iowa blitzed a lot. ISU scored a couple of TD's because of blitzes. Blitzing is not always the answer.

yeah and as many of you probably noticed isu did the thing where they get to the line read iowas defense look at their coachs switch the play and take advantage of the blitz. How bout a fake look here and there then back into something else?

I don't mind iowas consistancy in play calling when the have the talent but when you obviously do not have the dline to effectivly run your system its time to throw some curveballs from time to time. and i understand your sarcasm haha

WHAT! thats not fair. Besides this is Iowa we don't have beaches and millions of people etc. etc. so we're not flashy like that.

Plenty of speed, but apparently the arms could use some muscle. They need to finish tackles. Defense definitely doesn't look like a Norm Parker defense especially as much as they blitzed.

Speed is not the issue. We have speed. Iowa's LB's are the fastest they have had in years. The DL is undersized, and when you can't get a 300LB Linemen off your back, you will not show any speed.
