Good artical on Mark Atwater

Iowa is on his list. I've watched him now for 3 years, I really hope that Iowa throws him a late offer and he accepts. He actually reminds me of Pat Angerer. A similar build, instincual LB, a little more athletic at this stage, but not quite as physical. He's a two-way starter at Linn Mar LB and QB so he may be trying not to take a log of big blows.

Despite great career, recruiting is slow for Linn-Mar’s Atwater | Iowa Prep Sports

This kid is going to end up at Coe or UNI. No chance Iowa offers.

You know this for sure? Did Kirk tell you that?

He could walk on if not offered.

Yes and yes.

Do you know how to read? His dad coaches at Coe. He will go there if nobody gives him any scholarship money.

You are beyond clueless.

Beyond clueless? I didn't even read the article *******. But you were quick to say that he wouldn't get an offer from Iowa, that's all I was bringing up. Dick.

You're quite ignorant, and obviously didn't go to college yourself. If you had you would have realized there are many factors that go into picking a college or university.

Linn Mar had a great victory over City High Last Friday. Atwater clearly looked to be the best athlete on the field. Coach Ferentz's son is a senior for City High this year. He's a solid hs player, but not the player his brothers were.

Re: Good artical on Mark Atwater

If Iowa doesn't end up offering Atwater, he'll end up at Coe. And if Iowa doesn't offer, that will make it two Linn-Mar preps in the last three years that Iowa made a mistake in not offering. Mark CAN play at a Big 10 level. In addition to being a great athlete, he's one of the smartest football kids I've ever been around. He could play SS or as the original poster suggested, he could add a little weight and end up at LB.

You are obviously clueless and didn't go to college.

Just paraphrasing the other retards from earlier in the thread. Both of whom, apparently, are unable to read.

No, I would be shocked if any Division I schools offered Atwater. My guess is that he ends up at Coe with his father after declining to play at the DII level.

Take your midol and simmer down Sally. Just saying that alot can happen in recruiting and chosing a university. You're making a statement of fact, it's not. It's likely that if no other choice comes up Coes a great option. But he's a legit D1 football player who will have some options, and I really hope that Iowa is one of them.
