The Laporte City Union QB, Scheel, is only a sophomore and looks incredible.

Broke up a deep pass play while playing defensive back early in the game, tremendous running threat from the QB position, and throws a nice accurate ball as well.

This is only like his 6th or 7th game at QB, too, as their starter (Hadachek) hurt his shoulder in the middle of the year and was moved to WR (also a good player, the coach's kid and only a Junior).

58 yard TD pass from Scheel to Hadachek. Great move by the QB to avoid the rush, then throws a great, accurate pass to the wide open receiver, who shakes the defender out of his shoes and walks into the endzone.

Burnside also went like 70 yards on a screen pass for a TD on the first drive.

Scheel does look to be a big time prospect. On that scramble run, he had a whole other gear going down the sideline. Hope he is an Iowa fan!
