Re: Iowa Lands Florida WR

Are we supposed to call him and welcome him to Hawkeye Nation or something?

He didn't drop a pass all year. That's insane.

6-2... good height. If he doesn't drop passes and is relatively fast, could be a good find.

The first screen has his cell phone (954-802-9323) listed. Didn't know if he would want that out there.

Does this signal that Darboh is likely going somewhere else, or is this unrelated?

P.S. Like his number.

Re: Iowa Lands Florida WR

I read this guys other offers are from Jacksonville State and Tulane. While I realize our coaches have found some diamonds in the rough over the years and I think Soup Campbell is our best coach, is this really as good of a WR as we can get at this point, even after the success of a McNutt? Does this mean we are behind on Darboh or just are taking a few WR's?

This was my first thought as well, concerning Darboh.

It could be that the coaches like him that much regardless of his ranking. We still have numerous offers out to more highly ranked receivers. We've also had the majority of our targeted receiver recruits commit to other schools. They probably like this kid and want to make sure they land a kid they like.

Re: Iowa Lands Florida WR

Hopefully that is not his number still. He is going to be very tired of ISU fans calling to harass him if it is.
