An exciting get. He and Jaleel Johnson should make for some tough going, up the middle, for Hawkeye opponents. I expect one of Darian, Jaleel, or Faith to move to a DE position. The most likely player to do that may be Darian.

Have to be excited about this commitment!

I fully expect some freshmen DL to play next year and wouldn't be shocked if one(possibly two?) started.

The usual idea of a true freshman lineman starting or even playing a lot would be a little worrisome to me normally, but I think THIS group of incoming DL could do that. As I mentioned before seeing some of the young stud true freshmen start and play well for schools like ND this year raises my hopes that true freshmen can come in here and play and play well.

A great opportunity for young stud DL at Iowa next year...a lot of playing time available.
