He's the safety out of TX right? If so I would like to think our chances are good. But really do kids nowadays really need to do PC for their announcement, fukn lil over hyped if you ask me with the hats on the table and what not. Just call your new coach and tell him, no need for fukn PC's.

Most of the time, these recruits DO call and tell the coaches (a lot of the time all of his finalists) and let them know of his decision. The press conferences are typically more for the community than anything.

Woodbury, for example, had called both Fran and Roy before he held his press conference at SC North. The people who matter in the decision process were not in suspense at the presser. Just friends, family, community, etc.

Yeah, that to. But come on, this kid is 18 years old. At 18 years old I would have loved to of gotten this kind of attention. Not only would I have hats on the table I would have had the band, the drum roll, and anything else I could think of to make my announcement with.

This is not a big deal. I'm hoping it leads to a hawkeye hat. He seems to be a solid athlete and could be a good pair with Law in a few years.

My guess is that this is already done. He said the PC is coming on the 14th, and I'm guessing that he's told the staff of his chosen school to claim his scholly. I wonder if he is competing for the same scholly as Ka-Ra Stewart, or if we have room for both, especially in light of Stewart's official this weekend. It sure seems like the tea leaves point to Morgan being a Hawk. Could be a good week next week.

I think that it is one or the other. WE already have Lyles as a Safety, though he could play WR. I think either would be a good choice. I don't care as long as we get one of them.
