Yeah it really sucked when the 4 star DL committed earlier this week.
We've recruited DBs pretty well lately and very few were highly sought after players. CB is a hard position to recruit because high school football doesn't require great pass-coverage guys. A good high school athlete can adequately CB play with little technique at that level. We also recruit "scheme" CBs . . . meaning we recruit a slightly different type of CB than other teams. I bet Buford can tackle, is a heady player, and has good, not elite change of direction and hip swivel. That fits the type of CBs we recruit.
