Better there than sparty if he isn't coming to Iowa.

I think a lot of it is the excitement around the Ole Miss program right now. Hugh Freeze has brought a fresh attitude to their program and it has really showed early on in recruiting. Granted, the same could be said for the early part of the Ed O and Houston Nutt tenures, so I am skeptical about Ole Miss seeing long-term improvement, even with a new coach.

It seems like Michigan has some staying power with the excitement Brady Hoke is bringing.. I guess this is similiar, if not on a smaller scale.

Plus, I bet Ole Miss is pretty easy on the grade requirements, eh?

The Hawks have struck out again today. 4-star QB Aaron Bailey from Bolingbrook, IL has committed to the Fighting Illini.

At least the corn-nubbers didn't get him. This way we'll never have to play against him!

Great, we get to play against him for four years starting next year. If Beckman can coach Illinois will be a contender.

Iowa lost a couple of DL recruits to instate schools today. Merrick Jackson committed to Illinois and Chikwe Obasih committed to Wisconsin.

Jackson stated we were full at his position so that left him with only Illinois

Are we full, or holding out spots for a couple more preferred prospects?

Does that mean we are full for Raridon or holding the spot?

Seems like Coe will be coming, so that's another DL spot it seems that we'll have committing this year.

Sorry to keep beating this dead horse but Coe will sign with the 2013 class correct?
