Eli dunne
Has anyone seen this junior qb from grinnell play. I know he has the size and athletic ability to be adivision one athlete. I am not sure if football is his best sport though as he only gave up one earned run as a pitcher as a sophomore. Just curious why he isnt getting more discussion.

Re: Eli dunne
A few reasons why he isn't getting more recruiting heat:
1. He's from Grinnell, Iowa, which isn't exactly a hot bed for college football recruiting.
2. 2014 is one of the deepest classes in recent memory for Iowa HS recruits. In another year, he might get more love, but there are a lot of stud athletes in Iowa in his class.
3. If he plays baseball all summer, that means he isn't attending football camps, which are vital to the recruiting game.Last edited by thejumper5; 10-30-2012 at 07:03 PM.

I remember the last great QB/baseball athlete we had.... Atleast the kid isn't left handed.

Re: Eli dunne
He is better than JVB was in HS. He has more speed and size. Very big and can move...Has thrown for almost 1000 yards in the playoff thus far first 3 games. HE IS ONLY A JUNIOR.

Re: Eli dunne
I thought he looked pretty decent in the vid - certainly worth considering/evaluating.
Edit: good athleticism, too. Potential TE/WR convert.
Hell, why don't we look at a couple of those WRs while we're at it?!?
