    This is pretty much true. I work in the school district and am good friends with some of his coaches. He's a great kid but he allowed a bunch of sacks this season and the coaches have even said to me he needs to get tougher because he plays soft. I saw Valley play a few times this season and was disappointed in him. He's a big kid but not overpowering. His dad was talking to Rhoads the night I was there and figured he'd change his commitment given his family are big Cyclone fans.

    I have no idea. I don't know him personally nor his coaches.

    But congratulations to your team. Iowa State is definitely taking advantage of Iowa's struggles recently and should be the best football team in the state hands down going forward under Rhoads as long as Iowa sticks with Ferentz. Iowa is becoming the Iowa State of the old. Now we know what it must have felt like for Cyclone fans pre-Rhoads.
