I like Paul Rhoads. I wish ISU well in all games they play except two: UNI and Iowa. This is a drastic change in my attitude toward ISU from when Cheesehead was there. That guy was a puke's puke and I hated ISU because of it.

I think the odds are 2-1 they get 1 win. If they lose to UNI, which is a distinct possibility, they will likely go 0-12. After the UNI game, Iowa will hand them their heads per usual and then UCONN will take whatever shred of confidence is left. After that, it is the B12 and they will be double digit dogs in all but maybe 1 game. Going to be a rough one for PR's most talented team.

That's all sorts of ridiculous. I think the "this is the most talented team" crap is coach speak, but it's certainly a good enough team to beat UNI, Kansas, and a couple of others.

I agree they are good enough to beat UNI, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if they lost. UNI is going to be pretty damn good this year.

They could beat us too if we play our typical prevent zone and conservative offense. We did lose to a horrible Minnesota team last year with a supposed great roster. I'd hold off on the trash talk until we have a better idea of what our team will do. We have a lot of holes to fill.

Is Iowa playing Minnesota in Ames or are they playing ISU in Ames because this same great roster that lost to Minnesota did beat ISU 35-7 last year?

I'm not sure why you brought up Minnesota when Iowa and ISU played each other last year. If anything it should show you that losing to Minnesota has nothing to do with giving ISU a good a$$ kicking.

We've played our typical prevent zone and conservative offense against them for the last three years too. And they haven't scored a meaningful touchdown against us. I'll go right ahead with the trash talk.
