Just back from the ISU/UNI game
I can't really describe how bad that display of football was...by both teams.

I saw some people on the field, but I just gave the field a quick glance as I was walking out the stadium. Honestly, wasn't paying attention.

I can't believe how happy everyone was. I remember how quiet everyone was in Iowa City after the UNI game, this was the complete opposite. It may be the only win they get all year so I guess they felt they should celebrate while they can

I gotta admit that it was funny as hell when the stadium went quiet after UNI hit that 80 yarder to retake the lead.

ISU was FAR from full strength tonight.

Clones lost WR Darks, LG Hicks, and back up NT Laing to 1 game disciplinary suspensions.

K.O. gets hurt early in the game(ankle), basically decimating the left side of the line. NT Stephen Ruempolhomer, is basically unable to play because he had a surgery 8-10 days ago. He tried but was unable to play.

With Rump's back-up injured, 265 lb DE Patrick Neal moves to a position he had no business playing and get some snaps spelling some other guys. And starting DE Roosevelt Maggit got hurt and may be lost for the season. ISU by the 2nd qtr had a skeleton crew on both lines. Also hard to say in Darius Reynolds is back to 100% with the broken toe.

Its very fitting that UNI lost this game on account of how much their fan base cried about last seasons loss and how they gave it away. Shoe was on the other foot, and probably worse so, and ISU still won.

Jantz's pin-point 4th and 10 TD throw on the run from about the 35 was as good as it gets in college football.
