Re: Hare w'go agin'

Some ISU fans must think Iowa is in some position of bargaining influence in the Big Ten. They are not.

Re: Hare w'go agin'

I'm curious...why would ISU fans want to join a conference that they have routinely criticized as week?

Since we're peeking at CloneFanatic...here's another good one. Talk about spin.

http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...ent-stats.html

What they fail to see in those stats...is that they show ISU is the least attractive of the 3 schools to someone from out-of-state.

I wouldnt mind ISU in the Big Ten...if the Big Ten added ND, Mizzou and ISU, I think that would be great.

I think it's funny that they want the media to be advocating on behalf of ISU. Also that Jon would add three teams to bring the Big Ten to 16.

I think the Big Ten feels pretty good with where they sit at 12. Theres no way they add ISU before trying to get a long list of other teams ahead of them.

Re: Hare w'go agin'

ISU would be terrible in the Big Ten. As bad as Mizzou or Rutgers or Syracuse would be, ISU would be a jillion times worse.

Re: Hare w'go agin'

ISU to Big 10 | Welcome

This Gem from the website....
Iowa State is competitive and respected athletically without being an elite power that would take from the "have's" of the Big Ten. Elite secondary sports programs such as Women's Basketball, Volleyball, and Wrestling, are such examples, as well as competent programs in nearly every other sport where ISU competes.

In other words...if you let us in the big ten we will gladly lay down and be your beyotch.

I think its laughable to think ISU would be worse when you could play teams like Indiana, NW, Purdue and Minnesota every year. I'm sure ISU would not be a great team, but there are not that many comparable teams in the Big 12 talent wise (Kansas/KState?). ISU's last two postseason wins came against Minnesota.
