Cyclone Fantastic boycott/poutrage watch

Buffalo Wild Wings. Which I boycott as a general rule anyway.

Ames Buffalo Wild Wings, workers in Hawk shirts! - CycloneFanatic

Also, there's a link that the butthurt ISU fan provided for giving feedback to BWW. Just saying.

Re: Cyclone Fantastic boycott/poutrage watch

It's pathetic that some of them are getting so riled up by employees choosing to wear a shirt of another team.

To email BWW headquarters and complain about just shows how little of a life that poster has.

The Steelers fan club for a couple years went to the Nest sportsbar in Johnston, while it may not have been my #1 choice of a place to go, we went there every sunday to watch the Steelers, I didn't care that it was a cyclone bar.

Seems like there is more in life to get worried about than a waiter or waitresses shirt, like they aren't able to wear a shirt to support their team just because they don't live in the town of that school..

I guess the amazing thing to me is they have five pages of comments. The OP is an idiot. Enough said ... If he is that small minded and gets his panties in a bunch because of a shirt someone is wearing that dude has some serious issues in life in general ... For real.

it's very few who seem to have an issue with it. that thread is mostly people telling the OP to get a real problem. you're a sad sad little man dwayne.

for not caring about ISU at all, the amount of ISU related threads over here grossly outnumbers the amount of hawk related threads on CF.

Maybe if ISU was actually relevant at anything, the citizens of Ames would support them. I thought it was common sense as to why they see Hawk gear there but we never see State anything.

apparently you live a little off the beaten path. I see ISU gear in Iowa city fairly often.

I actually think you'd see more of it if people didnt need to worry about being cussed out in front of their children or harassed at the ped mall by classless individuals over the logo on their shirt. however that seems to be the way that some in IC roll. it's rather unfortunate

Maybe you just dont walk around while class is in session. I have yet to see any ISU gear in this city. And if I ever did, I'd never mention a thing about the clones to that person.

it really isn't the students that I've ever seen actually disrespect someone in the way I'm talking (outside of rivalry game/week in IC where it is expected). it appears to be a problem more consistent with the behavior of the "tavern" fans
