For all the talk that Iowa State is going to end up in a lesser conference Iowa State has been especially quiet and has not tried to keep the conference together by any means necessary, ala baylor. The interesting part about all of this is that if Oklahoma, and Texas decide to leave i doubt the former north schools wouldn't take legal action. Super Conferences may get decided at the supreme court level. Texas vs. ISU would take on a whole new meaning, with the outcome being much like when they played football last.

that's why nothing out of camp folly. they've flexed their muscle, shown their power, and have made their moves. they are going to get into the casino business in vegas - even if they have to kill everyone to do it.

I don't think there's any basis for a successful lawsuit that would keep any team from moving. And if you think things are awkward now with intraconference relationships, could you imagine if such a suit *was* successful in keeping a team in place?

First of all almost all the ADs in the Big 12 have made statements on where their schools stand. Pollard has made no such statements, with Pollards history he will say nothing until after it happens. Pollard is one of the most active athletic directors in the country. Meaning Iowa State more then likely has a landing spot already. Remember Pollard has very strong connections in the Big Ten and the Big East. A&M is gone no matter what the lawsuit is more of a way for Baylor to deter other teams from leaving and to show the rest of the country that little old Baylor has a say in all this.

exactly.. If you don't hear anything from Pollard, the better off Iowa State will be. If you do hear from Pollard when stuff like this is going on, that's not a good sign
