I don't know how many of you check out these blogs but both blackheartgoldpants (Iowa) and widerightnattylite (ISU) are just killing it this week!

Wide Right & Natty Lite - A Satirical Look at Iowa State Sports and Other Stuff

Black Heart Gold Pants - For Iowa Hawkeyes Fans

U can argue all you want about who fans consider to be the "true rival", but I don't think either fan base throws around this much smack the week prior for any other opponent.

hence the fact I linked BHGP in the OP complementing their efforts. Most of that article, however, just describes tavern hawks and mistakenly labels them as cyclone fans.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't even hit home to the majority of people here.

I make a lot of money too.. so I guess I have the luxury of my team being good and winning at life?

When your only argument in a sports rivalry is that you personally make more money or are in a better position than others from a success stand point, you automatically lose the argument..

WRNL is what BHGP used to be back in 2007/8. Then BHGP got moved to the SB Nation platform, matured, and is now one of the most college sites on that network.

WRNL better do the same, or they'll do no better than Clone Chronicles. Not that I would shed a tear if that site were to flame out in spectacular fashion.
