seriously, that is the definition of why that rule is in place. the isu receiver held out the ball taunting the db. why even have the rule?

I agree. I think it's a stupid rule for the most part, but that seemed pretty obvious. Thought it was going to bring out a flag before he got into the end zone.

I was just going to post the same thing, that TD should have been called back and ISU should have had 1st and 10 from the 20 as he did it at the 5.

The road team always has the officials, it was Big Ten officials last week in Ames and will be Big East in Kinnick tomorrow.

If you guys would read the rule book you would see that a team/player can NOT be flagged if the play in question is a reverse pass

If it's a double reverse pass, however, the rule again applies.
