Beebe is Deloss Dodds' lackey...Dont blame OU for wanting this...and I think there must be some blowback on the P12 front. I would think if OU knew it could leave, it would.

Getting rid of Beebe is the easy part. Making Texas fall in line with their network...good luck with that.

I think that is the easy part. They lack the power they thought they once had.

They can also go independent. They still hold the cards. Sure, the Big 12 can then move on without Texas. But if you think they are just going to walk away from that network and the $300 million that comes with it you're crazy.

Re: Big 12 will survive again?

Why does Texas lack power. They still have several options- Big 12, Big 10, Pac 12 and ACC. Will they get to keep the Longhorn network in all of them? No, but if they joined the Big 10 they would easily recoup that with the revenue from the academic side. Pac 12 would still be best case scenario for them and with Larry Scott's TV backround he can likely get every team individual networks. My guess is Dan Beebe will be fired the same day the conference dissolves.

I predict that some day Beebe will be a verb and an adjective.

You should have listened to the Miller and Deace show this afternoon. Deace covered this very well.

Hey doucher, if you are trying to prove a point, put it out there. You're response is just the pu**y way out.

Texas has said probably a trillion times in all this plan 1 is to fix the Big 12, plan 2 is to fix the Big 12, plan 3 does not exist.

Wow hell of a reply. Maybe Jon can chime in and tell you word for word what Deace said. Essentially no one will want to play on a Texas platform.

Re:Big 12 will survive again?

All signs seem to point to Big 12 surviving again, but we all know it can change quickly. If they're smart, they will sign have a contract that makes it next to impossible for any team to leave. Then we can be done with all this

I don't waste well written replies on the likes of you.

Re: Big 12 will survive again?

I think Texas want's the Big XII to survive, but first they want to scare ISU into leaving so they can replace them with a better option. Barring that, the Big XII dissolves and they reconstitute the SWC, leaving ISU out that way.
