I'm fairly new here but am kind of surprised by how many Iowa State people get on here and post. Do many Hawk fans get on other schools message boards and post?

There are a number of Hawk fans on CyFan too but their board mods are a bunch of tools.

Most of the Clone posters on here are good guys. But like Spliff said the CF mods are a bit over protective of their little Cyclones and if anyone says one thing bad about them they get the ban hammer. They can't handle the truth when it is brought up to them.

I personally think it's a bad idea to cross over and post on any other teams board. It's just a breeding ground for trouble. Easy enough to get into trouble right here.

Seems somewhat pointless. I don't care enough about the Clones to post on their board. If a clone posts here...that's fine with me....Usually seems to end in pointless back and forth bickering though.

I love it when we talk our teams and it goes well. Unfortunately that's pretty rare.

And I love the "overactive mods" talk when discussing CyFan... how many bannings and thread locks were there during the first half of the Pitt game on here?

True, but here is a perfect example of the "overactive mods" on CyFan.

Remember a couple of years ago when ISU was leading or beat Iowa in the Directors Cups Standings for the 1st time ever? And Clone fans were all over it talking smack about it, well a Hawk fan went over there and posted last years standings (I think they were last years) a week or so ago showing Iowa beating ISU and of course it didn't mean anything to Clone fans and then the mods deleted that thread. Now that was childish, they like to dish it out but can't take it when the shoe is on the other foot.

Had the situtation been reversed Jon wouldn't have deleted that thread over here.

I do not understand it either and I have been on these forums for years. There are a couple of cyclone fans that come over to Hawkeye boards that are objective and add to discussions (BryceC comes to mind) but most of them just come over to gloat when ISU beats Iowa. But when Iowa beats ISU then they are pretty quiet until something bad happens within the Iowa program.

I've never understood clown fans on here. I would never go over there cause I'm not interested in their sports. AT ALL.

There are such things as dual fans. I'll be at the Iowa/Purdue game in West Layfayette this year and I'm sure I'll have a great time with a bunch of friends of mine.
