Does Texas pay Iowa State? I assumed it was different for in conference games. Iowa pays for all out of conference home games. Iowa/Iowa State is a little different because they "share" but Iowa always contributes more than Iowa State does.

I thought I heard they payed something like 1.5 mil for the ULM game. Then North Dakota State is getting $500k in 2016. Lotta money going round.

Yep. I'm not denying it. But I am enjoying the festivities tonight.

I think it was 1.05 million. Where the heck does that money come from anyway?

There is insane money made at Iowa home games. $3.5+ million for tickets, BIG money for parking. Take into consideration all the cars that pay $20 and those that pay $10G for the season. Concessions are huge profits. Memorabilia has high markup. I wouldn't mind seeing a breakdown on how much they pull in per game. This is all information that can had by the public and the freedom of information act. The numbers would be astonishing.
