Need the years ISU tanked under Rhoads after beating Iowa
I have seen this mentioned about 20 times in the 5-6 threads going on right with the love fest with the Clones. Need some years, thanks.

There are absolutely zero facts you can point to that would indicate that Iowa is ISU's Super Bowl. None.
This is the biggest myth out there.
The Iowa-ISU game was 3 weeks ago. We beat UConn after playing Iowa. We started the Iowa game the same exact way we started the UNI game, the UConn game, and the Texas game. The only difference is that you can get away with playing stupid, sloppy football against UNI, Iowa, and UConn. You can't against Texas.
ISU turned the ball over twice inside Iowa's 10 yd line, missed two chip shot FG's, and had nearly twice as many penalties as Iowa did. ISU did not play well in the Iowa game either. But they were able to overcome it. Last night they weren't.
Plus, isn't this Rhoads' only victory over Iowa? Maybe it is Iowa's Super Bowl since they've beaten Rhoads 2 out of 3 times?

Well seeing as your guys dream season is our coach on the hot seat season ....I'm very confused at the cockyness and **** talking on these boards by clone fans. Is there some sort of information to back up this cockyness?

Are you referring to the same program that has 10 walk-ons in the two deeps? Ya I agree there is a huge talent gap, we recruit our two deeps, they aren't walk-ons.

Thats not true at all, at least not for me I should say. I like Kirk and think he does a great job there and from what I can tell, generally displays class for Iowa.

Then it will be 3-2, then 3-3, then 3-4, then 3-5, then 4-5, then 4-6, then 4-7 and we finally get to 4-8, ISU will go 2-8 after the Iowa game and that would be tanking. But for the record it might be 5-7, the only wins left on the clones schedule are Kansas and maybe at Texas Tech.

Glad to see your proud of your 2 deeps, because as many injuries as you sustained last night you will be real familiar with them. Also, since your so proud of them don't come over after your next beating and use any injury excuses.

Here is the big difference between the turnovers against Iowa versus the turnovers against UConn and Texas, they didn't give Iowa a short field. If they had and Iowa didn't have to drive 80 or 90 yards then Iowa wins that game in regulation.
It is a moot point trying to compare the two since ISU didn't give Iowa a short field like they did UConn and Texas.

I think it is very funny when clowns come this board and talk smack about beating Iowa, when the clowns finish 4-8 they will still talking about how they beat Iowa this year, yet the Hawks will be playing in a good bowl somewhere. I don't know about anyone else but I will take the Hawks season outcome over the clowns season outcome any day. By the way clown, until your program has more bowl wins than the third string qb in KC you should probably shut your pie hole and go work on "recruiting better players for your two deeps" because the ones you have aren't going to get you more than one more win the rest of this year
