Minnesota sucks off the field more than they do on it.

Gophers' grades a major concern for staff - Big Ten Blog - ESPN

Coach Jerry Kill says he and his staff are monitoring 63 players to make sure they're attending class. I'm not a math major, but that's a huge portion of the roster that needs academic check-ups.

Half of their team not attending class? Yikes.

Re: Minnesota sucks off the field more than they do on it.

I heard local radio guys commenting on this yesterday. Somebody asked Kill how big a number 63 was...and he said that typically you have about 15 guys you have to keep an eye on. Wow.

There are two distinct groups on the team...the older guys that Brew recruited and the young guys that Kill brought it. And the difference between them couldn't be more clear. The older guys resent Kill's disciplined approach , cause they liked the frat-boy attitude of Brewster. Expect lots of transfers this winter and more guys who just plain flunk out.

They could be 1-11 bad for 2 or 3 more years.

I think the coaches need to focus on Minnesota a little harder for recruiting the next few years. It is amazing how successful some of their DII schools are but the BCS school tanks.

I love it!
