Isu and Iowa opponents

Pitt glides past uconn even without cornerstone RB Graham.

Isu is looking worse with each passing moment. Can't believe we lost to them.

The clowns have nothing to do with the toughness of the big 12. They would be bottom feeders of any conf.

I wouldn't hang your hat on uconn losing at pitt...we've beat tenntech, la-monroe,pitt,nw, and indiana they'd probably when the most of those games and worst they'd lost 2. Which when you factor in they beat us at worse they'd be 5-2 same as us.

HN should be worrying about the next five games and not a close loss in September.

Yeah it is looking more and more every week like UNI was our best non conference win. Sad.

I agree. There is no doubt in my mind that UNI would finish above the clowns and Kansas if they were in the big 12.

Yah it sucks losing to little brother, but we will be playing in a bowl game while the clowns are sitting at home once again.

No kidding. It sucks that Iowa lost to ISU, but the whole season is still in front of Iowa.

The next two weeks are huge for Iowa. Iowa has to beat Minny, and then IF they do that (I take nothing for granted with this team), they'll have Michigan at home. That will be a very important game that I believe is winnable. IF they can do that, they'll be at 7 wins and possibly a better team by then.

Keep the faith! I know the defense is quite problematic, but the offense is clicking. No one expected Iowa to be great this year. My hope is that Iowa somehow gets to 8 wins. Go hawks.

Agreed, it's a good feeling to still have big things to play for heading into November, isn't it?
