Missed Field Goal??

Watch it. It was good. Not that Okie St. did anything to win (they are clearly not even a top 10 team), but that call was BAD.

He missed it, what more is there to say? The replay camera angle was horrible, the official standing right underneath the goal post had a much better view of it.

How could you tell from the TV angle? From what I saw it was impossible to tell

the camera view was from the outside, so if it was wide, it should have been obvious. i don't think it looked obvious.

Watch the first angle, he missed it. The camera angle from behind the endzone was not lined up with the post. It was a diagonal line towards the kicker, of course it looked good. That's why ESPN kept showing it and not the straight on angle.

Even the view from the bad angle showed it going through...and that was the view that would have given it the benefit of the doubt.

That is because of the angle. When that FG was kicked live I thought he missed it the camera angle from the endzone had a horrible angle on it.

you're not getting it. The angle that was shown on the replay from underneath the left upright was the angle that would have made it look even worse, but it showed it going right over the top....if you watch it directly from the center...it would have been good.

They won...I can't change that, but I can't believe it wasn't replayed.....even Linda Cohn mentioned it on the highlights. Clearly Iowa St. outplayed them....just sayin.

Even if it was replayed there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call on the field of no good.

i agree that it looked good. how is that cry baby? or do you not understand what we're discussing? i think you'd be flipping out if that was your team on the other end of that call. i know this board would be in complete meltdown if that happened to the hawks.
