Just a few notes:
Fans were great before during and after the game. No reson for any hostility during the game as I had nothing to cheer for. Also, easy to be cheerful after the game with a easy Win. A huge difference I notciced with Nebraska fans in comparison to Iowa State fans is that they have been here before. A lot of pride in the Fb team but not a lot of idiots. Overall had great time with the Neb. fans.
I found out early to make sure I had no adult beverages on the sidewalks or parkways.
Most of the Neb. fans I talked to were very upset with Suh's actions in the Detroit game. Also of note when the PA announcer was reading off the prior weeks NFL accomplishments of former Nebraska players they left his name off.
A lot of the tailgating appears to happen at the local bars or at the Indian grounds-The Res. as they call it.
Had a real good time at the Embassy Suites beer garden after the game, with the band and all.
Also, had to make a Runza stop after the game. It's a glorified slider from White Castles on a hoagie type bun.
Getting in and out of the stadium itself is the worst I have seen. It's like being herded like cattle and going thru the shoots.

Anyhow, I'm glad (and not at all surprised) that you had a nice time in Lincoln, and pretty much everthing you said is the same as my experience in Lincoln. Hopefully next year's game will have a similar atmosphere.
