Nebraska Cable Installers Union (AKA nciu.org)

Check out this link Big 12 UNL Sports Covenant and then go to NCIU.

This is wild stuff. The only reason I bring this up is that if you poke around on www.huskerboard.com someone who is allegedly affiliated with www.nciu.org posted several weeks ago (Before the Iowa Nebraska game) that Carl Pelini was going to go to FAU. They also posted that Tom Osborne is attempting to force Bo into leaving. Rumor is Bo may end up at Mississippi State.

If you feel like finding the series of posts from past to present look under the thread titled "Smartbomb" or something like that.

Sounds like the folks at nciu.org are powerful insiders and I'll be curious, now that one of their "Smartbomb" predictions has occurred, to see how much more legs this thing has.

FWIW, I heard from a friend who supposedly knows someone that TO doesn't really care for Bo all that much, and he wouldn't be too upset to see Bo go. But he won't fire him at this time.

I am not an insider, it's just gossip. But from my perspective, where there is smoke there often times is fire.

74H- Agree, I've heard and read the same thing. And really, that makes sense in a way. I grew up as a kid during the Tom Osborne years. Started paying attention to college football in general and, as I lived in western Iowa, Husker news in specific during the IM Hipp/ Barney Cotton era. Obviously kept track of the team from there and while I understand why Coach Osborne hired Bo to breathe much needed life into your program after the Pederson/ Callahan era, Bo is about as far away from Tom Osborne as a coach as one could be. TO and Kirk Ferentz, as persons, are cut of the same cloth. I don't think Tom has been to pleased with Bo's approach in many ways and he'd love to find the right combination of coach and person that would not only lead the teams to organized fundamental football, but to wins via that system, and be someone he'd be pleased to see on TV on the sidelines during the games. Not sure who that is, you'd have a better guess than me, but Bo's no TO.

Maybe there already is one? I had never heard of this underground group until I wanted to get the vibe of the message boards after the report of Carl Pelini leaving. I had heard talk for weeks he was going to go one way or another, but this was beyond just chatter.

Kirk has had his fair share of off the field issues, so did TO. Unfortunately, it is part of society.
