No, not the Rebecca Black song, the ISU/Iowa MBB game!

Any predictions/thoughts on it? Two teams that have been disappointing have a chance to get on track and play in (hopefully) a great environment.

I think the spread will come out with ISU about a 6 point favorite. I think the game will be close throughout, with the nod going to the home team in the end. I hope it is well-played, and well-reffed!

I don't really care. Apathy set in years ago. But Iowa has no expectations going into this year and ISU has huge expectations so pressure is on ISU. This would be the worst loss in Cyclone history to Iowa being that this is the worst Iowa team in history. If Iowa State wants to make the Final Four, this win means nothing but a loss would be an ugly one. It's an All-American caliber team versus a middle of the Summit League caliber team.

With that said, anything less than a 30 point victory for ISU would be embarrassing. If Iowa wins, Fred Hoiberg should be shown the door. That's how bad of loss it would be for the Clones.

At least Iowa has a much better APR though...

You are right about ISU having higher expectations coming into the season, but wrong about Iowa having none. Don't make me go and find all the posts/threads talking about 18+ wins and the post-season for Iowa.

Both teams have had to adjust their goals early on, but it's a long season, and a lot can happen.
