UNI has 4-5 guys with the stomach flu including 3 starters. koch missed the game the previous night.

they were very uncharacteristically giving up wide open three's all game. ohio is good but UNI looked very slow on D.

A friend of mine attended the game last night with his family. This morning over coffee he said the way Northern Iowa played it was a waste of time and money to go to the game. He said UNI played very poorly.

When UNI is the top program in the state, that means that basketball in this state is really down. I know, I know....they beat Kansas in the tournament. What mid-major team hasn't. The facts are simple, Iowa and Iowa St. have a much, much higher ceiling than Northern Iowa and if they are the top team in the state, it's really an indictment on how bad basketball in this state is currently.
