It's the BB/FB divide. You just see more pacing/waving/yelling/pointing/screaming "coaching" in BBall due to the coaches proximity to the court & players, and their involvement in the continuing play. This also brings them front & center to the cameraman and fans. FB is very different, since the players aren't paying attention to the coach during the actual gameplay, plus the coaches are further away from everything.

So the "animated" coaching in BB is more common, and less unique, than the "animated" FB coach.

Both are good coaches who care about their kids and want them to get a fair shake. No problem with either one.
