His game is pretty raw yet.

Just from the limited time I've seen them play. Looked like White had a meltdown during the Kansas game and is kind of a head case. Saw Fred take him out today and I'm not that good of a lip reader but they showed White and it looked like he said "he better not f'n take me out"(after he picked up a foul). I've heard stuff from people that have gone to games too. No truth to it?

The transfers are helping them as much as we like to give them crap about all of the transfers. 4 of their 5 starters are transfers.
They played the best two teams in the conference tough. I don't think anybody else has played that well in Allen Fieldhouse this year. Kansas blew out undefeated Baylor at home.

As far as transfers go... it looks like it worked for Fred. He didn't have much other option with the bench he had last year. He has recruited some good young talent, by the time the transfers move on he will have a decent base built. They'll always be ISU tho... sucky.

Ohio St played Kansas real tough at Fogg Allen without Sullinger, but other than that you are right.
ISU has improved and they are decent. They are in desperate need of a big win though to help any chance for them to get into the tourney.

Re: The eternal question...

Losing leads in the last 6 minutes of the game to both KU and Mizzou will come back to haunt ISU.

The team before Christmas looks NOTHING like the one it is now.

Texas Tech is really bad and ISU demolished them.

Big 12 has 3 teams (Kansas, Mizzou, Baylor) that are far above the rest....everyone else is pretty mediocre. Finishing fourth in the Big 12 this year, won't be like doing it in other years.

But it would get an NCAA bid. 5th place gets a bit dicey.

Yeah, KU and Mizz looked light years ahead of ISU when they played...
