Aaron Fuller finished for the season

He had season ending shoulder surgery yesterday. With him out, his team finally won a game. Probably not a direct correlation as he was the teams leading scorer and rebounder but interesting none the less.

Jake Kelly transfers. Blows an ACL
Aaron Fuller transfers. Tears a shoulder

Try not to let your joy show quite so much. It makes you look like an *******.

I really liked Fuller when he was here and wish he would have stayed.

Re: Aaron Fuller finished for the season

I enjoyed watching USC getting punked when Fuller transferred, but I don't wish injury on anybody.
Too bad for him.

I liked Kelly as well but I wonder if we would still be dealing with Lick as coach had he stayed at Iowa. Kelly played really well in Lick's system and I think they would have won a few more games.

I think Kelly could have played in just about any system. The guy was a baller.

Re: Aaron Fuller finished for the season

Aaron Fuller leaving was probably the best thing to happen for Iowa BB. It drove a stake thru the heart of Lick's tenure here. And paved the way for Fran to restore it.

That may be true but my point is with Kelly Iowa may have won a few more games under Lick thus extending his era.
