. Yeah and we know the AAU does not stand for auto adding university. We also know without a calculator, 74 cant figure out 5 classes a semester, 2 "preferred" books per class, being sold back at $100 each after they paid nothing for them, is an extra $1000 per semester.
But never mind, I am sure it was all about education, even thou people who have to pay for books pass those classes with out the "preferred" books.

I'm not saying that it didn't happen, or that the student athletes didn't gain a little financially by selling books back. I do know that some books, once purchased, will not be bought back by bookstores, however. This hardly reeks as some far reaching plot to pay student athletes, and, it was self reported.

Also, Iowa fan has no room to poke other fan bases (well, with the exception of PSU, OSU, and the SEC) about issues with their student athletes.
