Re: Fred Hoiberg on NBA radar
Did you read the thread? He wasn't that far off on anything really. Allen, Booker, White, all correct. Babb more right than wrong, it isn't like you can say Babb is some great player, EXCEPT he is a good defender. Most good players can put up better offensive numbers than Babb. He said middle of the pack finish, that could be 4th, 5th, or 6th.....they finished 3rd.
Please cite what he predicted that was akin to saying Allen was gonna average 20 points per game, and he was going to be the #1 option on the team and was going to be used like DG?
So yes, really, he was much more spot on that the ISU posters.....Originally Posted by OUTofTOWNHAWK 9/23/12
Yes Ill say it. I hope Iowa loses every game until they get rid of KF. Its what has to happen. Id rather no wins for two years rather than Kirk go down a legend winning 6-7 wins a year with 2 losses every year to some of the worst teams in the country. All while making a fat check.

Re: Fred Hoiberg on NBA radar
ISU finished tied for 3rd. I said their talent level would be in the middle of the conference, which it is. I would say Missouri, Kansas and Baylor all have more talent, I thought Texas would have more talent too, but I might even give ISU a slight edge their based on White's development. So yes, talent wise they are 4th out of 10 teams, which is what I would call middle of the pack.

Re: Fred Hoiberg on NBA radar
I'm here fellas. Not running away from you. Not everyone lives on these boards like Vintage does.
Where some of my predictions wrong? Sure. But I will gladly be wrong on some individual predictions and be right on the team predictions. Iowa State finished how I imagined and made the NCAA tournament like I predicted and bet many on this thread they would.
I could go back and pull up old predictions on every poster on this board and do what you guys just did to me. It'd be easy to find but rather time consuming. Not everyone is a loser like HawkeyeMike that gets banned from his own board. Hell Spank predicted Licklikter to win Big 10 COY. Jon Miller predicted Iowa to go undefeated and play in the national title game 2 years ago. Steve Deace is off on 60% of his predictions every football season. Predictions are what they are, predictions. You take a stab in the dark and go from there.
You guys were sooo right that Allen wasn't as good as was being reported. At the same time Iowa State still went to the dance, won a game, while Iowa had to buy their way into the NIT. So keep up those stellar predictions.

Re: Fred Hoiberg on NBA radar
LOL - I love that me getting banned means so much to you. All the good ones get banned at somepoint, it builds street cred around here haha.
You're a little ***** who doesn't know **** about sports. I'm going to ignore you from now on, but I'm sure you'll still stalk my posts so I suggest you just bookmark this thread and refer to it any time you start to doubt me.
Oh and I believe you owe Stanz some money, make sure you pay up.

Re: Fred Hoiberg on NBA radar
I've told Stanzi multiple times I'd pay up. I didn't remember making the bet and told him if he showed it to me I'd pay up. I've seen it now and will.
I've played college ball while you sat on the couch. I've forgotten more about sports than you've known. Good job on bringing up some individual stats predictions to make yourself feel better about Iowa State's success and Iowa's lack of it.
I bring up your banning, b/c it shows that you aren't even respected on your own board. Hell Jon doesn't ban many people but he banned you.

Wow, you should really check on FH's drafting history guy. Here's a good link to read about 2007-2010 that involved FH. Minnesota Timberwolves - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You guys need to remember that Chad Buchanan is the GM of the Blazers. Valley kid who played against Fred. We all know each other. Lets just say its not just a journalist throwing out a name.

I don't understand why my name came up in this thread. I mean, it has nothing to do with Stevie Hicks.
Until Teh Mayor aces himself in a drug-fueled frenzy, I got nothin' on him.
Oh, and clown17? Suck it.
