Ding, ding, ding.....I used to hang over there on Cyfan back when Cael and The Chiz were there….it was remarkable to see them lift the Chizzer on high and then bombard KF for morality and then do similar for Cael (who for the record is a good cat, or so it seems) only to have to retract themselves….they are so myopic and short sighted and bitter that they truly seem to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I’ve mentioned to them before those things have a tendency to come back to haunt you but they just don’t get it. It is funny and sad all at the same time.

This is also true....I would have still considered her a huge star and a neat story. To tell you the truth I honestly dont care who she is a fan of and I only found out today she was an Iowa fan...although I did assume...

Its not "ISU fans" its people in general. You have folks here that do the same stuff.

Very true, but I know you from over there and I had the same screen name myself. By percentage and totality this kind of group think was the Cyclone way and you know it….it’s in their hand book. The threads about KF being a criminal and a moral scum and a cover up artists were very distasteful and quite sad. I could start listing the posters by name and there are a lot of them as you know and some of the leading voices ast that.

I still shake my head about a thread containing cyclonefan78 (or something close to that) lambasting Bielema for being a jerk, and then a few posts later hoping the stories he heard about Dwayne Crutchfield flipping Hayden off on a 70 yard TD run were true……

That’s the kind of myopic, hypocritical view that gets fostered over there and it is the norm as you know. Now don’t get me wrong, there were several really cool posters and I enjoyed what they said had to say and their even keeled approach. I’m also on record that many a ISU Fan and Iowa fan are very similar, but consider I’m not a very big fan of the crappy things they say either. Fortunately they are the outspoken “minority, not the majority as is the case in your world.

regarding "copying" USC's jersey, we actually didn't. The jerseys ISU wears now are comparable to the jersey's worn back in the 1970's. Thanks.

But anyway, that stuff has since eased up. The rivalry stuff has been moved to the back and the site in general is getting more organized. You had a bad experience, but they are a minority as well. Trust, me that crap annoys me too. I know perfectly well how karma works and it has bitten us hard at times.
