How many yards will the leading Iowa RB gain? Probably more than the leading ISU RB. I think you are delusional if you think that White or Johnson walk right into Iowa and take all the carries.....Garmon & Hill both have more talent, and at the RB position, that is all that really matters.

funny stuff - saying that any incoming clown recruit would have to sit and wait for the jeffy woody era to be over prior to seeing the field......no doubt about it - that has to be THE reason a recruit would decommit from ames to chose iowa....

Jeff Woody would be #1 on your depth chart this year and everyone knows that.

Congratulations. Your #1 RB would start over a WR, a FB and 2 true freshmen. Your best offensive player would start at Iowa's weakest offensive position on a team that might have the least talent in the last 10 years.

    ISUer,

For the sake of all ISU fans, please stop posting. You are gaining nothing by posting here. All you are doing is giving HN posters a reason to talk **** about Iowa State. No matter what you say or do they aren't just going to stand up and say "wow Iowa State is better after all". Do Cyclone Nation a favor and stop.

    Thanks

Recruiting game plan? You mean, hand out offers to kids that aren't even good enough to be sniffed by other BCS schools? Hope that works out for ya buddy.

Hes investing in development of guy off radar. We will see if it pays off or not. Hes being a bit non traditional. If it works out, great, he will look pretty damn smart. If not, well, I guess we know where it goes from there.

That would be an understatement. When nearly half of your recruits don't have online recruiting profiles, you might want to take another look at how you're doing things.
Really, Rick and the offensive line knew we were going to get it done. Nothing was going to stop us. You could’ve put 24 players out on defense and we were going to somehow get it done.”-DJK-

Like I said, there is some sort of plan here. They are evaluating some of these guys pretty early. He hasnt had much trouble getting 2 and 3 stars in the past so I wouldnt think he is now. It appears hes looking for something different in these guys, raw athletes or something that they can coach up. If his plan doesnt work, well they can try something else or move on.

Remember this 4 years from now when everyone is calling for his head after back to back 3-9 seasons. The try something different part won't be an option. However, if it works, (and I'll be surprised if it does,) then you're right, he will look pretty smart.
