ISU/Rivalry posts

Thinking of making this forum be one where the new posts or any posting activity does not show up on the forum landing page, and you have to click on the forum to see the threads. The back and forth between Iowa and ISU fans is fine, but not everyone wants to see it and some of it is silly. I'd rather also just have a place to move posts that belong in the Rivalry forum to a place where only the folks who want to see that stuff have to see it, because they sought it out.

Quick question for you all. What is with the off topic thread. Was their bad stuff being posted that made the forum like that or what was the deal? I only use the mobile app and it doesn't show up?

It would be nice if the Rivalry Forum was opt-in and people would post their new thread in the Rivalry Forum instead of the Football or Basketball Forum.

It would...but we'd also have the same problem we have now with off topic...people can't figure out why they can't find off topic, because they don't read the pinned posts from Jon at the top of the football and basketball forums, so they just post where ever...like the football forum.

I get sick of some of the silly back and forth talk, but I honestly think that it adds flavor.

I doubt that I would seek out the rivalry forums and think the forums I do go to might be a little less interesting if you over sterilize them.

Not very well, I think I was scammed.
