    Hawkeye Fans Everywhere

Our family just returned from a vacation to Washington DC. We typically had at least one person in our group wearing Iowa gear. During our time traveling to/from and in DC, our boys were amazed that people continued to say "Go Hawks". We kept telling that that Hawkeyes are everywhere.

He's right ya know. It is pretty impressive. A guy on "Flip this house" (I'm pretty sure that's the show it was) was wearing a Hawkeye cap on an episode I saw a few weeks ago. And he was in Atlanta!
Go Hawkeyes. Go Eagles. Go Cubs. Go UNI Panthers (except when they're playing the Hawks, of course).

I live in San Diego now, and I've seen Quite a few here. There is a bar in Pacific Beach called Pacific Beach AleHouse that has a sign on the building that says "Home of the Iowa Hawkeyes." I can't wait for a game watch there, I hear it's packed with Iowa fans.

I was in a meeting at a ski area that I was evaluating as a potential to provide funding for re-opening in the Big Horns here in Wyoming and one of the board of directors for the ski area was wearing a Hawkeye hat. After the meeting I talked to her and she had actually grown up just south of Iowa City and was a graduate as well. Definitely a small world...

I was in Kentucky and I thought I saw a Cyclone fan, but it was just a pig that got loose in a tomato patch.

I wore my hawk gear in the ATL when visiting some family, and got quite a few "go hawks" calls.

There are many Hawkeye in Atlanta. I lived there between the ages of 10- 24 then moved back to Cedar Rapids 13 years ago. My dad and uncle live there still and when i visited last March everywhere we went from Stone mountain to the coca-cola factory to the aquarium there were hawk fans.

Was hiking in a rain forest in Olympic National Park in Western Washington. My son had his Hawkeye shirt on. From somewhere out in the mist we heard, "Go Hawks."

Never saw who said it. Might have been one of those annoying sparkly Vampires they have there.

I was just out in San Diego and went there. They also sell Hawkeye mason jars. I picked up a couple. It's a pretty nice place and right next to the ocean to boot.

I was just in Ames and someone yelled "GO HAWKS!" as I was driving past Jack Trice...I turned to look and it was an ISU student who was obviously a Tavern Hawk...
