Add BB Code Instructions for Videos

Could the instructions for placing you tube and other videos in post be added to the page below? I have tried various tags I found for VBulletin Board forums, but they do not work when I use preview.

Thanks. Many sites use the [youtube]value[/youtube] tag. But with no instructions it is unclear. Some sites use [video]value[/video] for those other than youtube. I had a video from cnbc I wanted to post, but when I used the url or embeded code it just displayed text.

That's happened to me on YouTube before, but only when the url is https:// instead of http://. Not sure why. Once I remove the 's', it works fine.

It does, but for some reason the forum software doesn't like to link to an https youtube vid. No idea why.

Re: Add BB Code Instructions for Videos

I am thinking more and more about going to vbulletin's 4th version vs xenforo...and the embed options and practices are more inclusive than what we have now. This will happen sometime in April.
