Viewing .jpg via the HN app

I noticed that when I am not logged in with my username and pw through the app that images are displayed. After logging in those images change to url addresses.

2) Can I really not type in landscape layout in the app?

To start a thread go to the forum landing page and there should be a + sign in the top right corner. press that to add a new thread. you may have to be in a sub forum to start it (FB, BB, etc).
Thr landscape deal I have no idea on.

This on android? Don't see a plus sign on iphone.
