Hey guys, USAFhawk and myself are working on a piece for each of the wrestlers that has committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes this year. We are still putting some stuff together but will have some stuff on here soon. We will likely break down each guy 1 at a time and we will start with the lower weights and work our way up. Expect something on Cory Clark soon.

I know for a fact Cory and Alex signed last Wednesday the first day of signing period.

As for WildTurkey they havent had a folkstyle match against each other in high school. So to say that Cory doesnt hold a candle to Gilman is a little flawed. What are you basing your opinion off of?? Fargo??

Yes they havent wrestled folkstyle so maybe you are right. I just think Gilman is more polished at this point. He reminds me of a young McDonough. Clark will do just fine. Iron sharpens iron!

FYI I was really pulling for Clark in the freestyle match with Gilman. Cory showed some really good things especially his scramble ability but Gilman was just to relentless.

Great match no excuses Gilman did what he needed to get the win.

They could both settle this for us by both making 126 Dec 3rd in Gardner KS.
