I don't get it... if you take the Ballwegs and the Moores and look at their recruiting rankings and high school accomplishments and then look at what they've become at Iowa, it's simply mind boggling. I don't see one of the five of them ever competing for AA status.

I'd say Mark Ballweg has a legitimate shot at AA next year. He wrestled great at 141 last year when he was the starter. He was obviously undersized at 149 and hasn't had the same aggressiveness "coming off the bench" at 141 this season. It must be a mental thing; however, I think he can excel his senior year back in the starting position.

I was going to say the same thing. Before MM got reinstated last year Mark was wrestling really well. In fact a year ago around this time the message board was full of 'move montel to 149' threads.

Also, Nick Moore isn't wrestling great, but we can't put him in his brother's category yet. That said, I'm not upset to see the current batch of ICW wrestlers headed to other programs.

I would take another Linn-Marr recruit. JayBo and Mcd winning titles the same year was sweet. Any talent coming up in that program?

they look really good. theyve got a good program going. I don't know if there studs are d1 calibur though.

I would guess that both Atwater and Womtalk will both be eyeing a shot at playing football.

Agree about ICW. Other than DSJ I don't like the style of wrestler they produce as it translates to D1 college.
