Meeks almost goes down? I was hoping both Meeks and Clark would make it thru undefeated

I was there and need to see a replay...I would say the takedown was questionable...I give props to jack, he was in on a couple great shots...Clark rode him the whole second period tough...close match, but I would say 1-0 Clark until I see a replay:......Meeks/sorenson match wasn't close-Branding couldn't come close to getting past jerks head and hand defense...meridian needs to start riding people

Meeks and Sorensen wasnt as close as the match score indicates Meeks controlled this match and will be very tough to beat. He waits for you to make a move and then is lighting qucik with his counters and his head and hands defense is excellant.

As far as the Clark/Hathaway match it was 2 from where I was at on the mat. Great gameplan by Jack he was in deep on a couple other shots also. Hopefully we get another great match at state.

Bettendorf is good but look at Denver/Tripoli. Garret Smith gets over his infection and wins the 182. Wolfensberger 3rd at 145(losing to Moreno), Sorenson dropping a close one to Meeks, Peters dominating, and Chapin getting 6th. They could have 5 state champions this year in 2A.

Stroker did not beat Laux, it was an injury default Laux went to the hospital with stomach pains after his semi-finals match is what i heard.

That being said Stroker is having an outstanding Freshmen year and will be one that Im sure TnT will have their eyes on for years to come.
