Killing a dynasty? I wish you could get a chance to wrestle Brands for 60seconds. That would be great. The National Championships and Big 10s are still to come there Tmoney. He can't wrestle for the kids on that mat. I'm going to stand by the coaches at Iowa!

Re: Is it time for Barta to get rid of Brands?

Am i to harsh in saying that this is a completely stupid thread. Even Gable had years that were not steller by Iowa terms, but it happens. If you have ever spent time with Brands, you would know this is killing him more than you know. I had the privilage of working with Tom N Terry at a couple of wrestling camps several years ago and i for one will tell you, there is not a better person from a coaching or character stand point. I can't think of anyone I would rather have coaching wrestling at Iowa than who we have right now. So we have a down year big deal, you all teams go throught it. Look at Minnesota, Okie State over the last few years, they haven't exactly been on top of their game, but they are coming back just as this staff and group of wrestlers will be back. Will it be this year by the time we get to tourney time maybe not, but we will return. Everyone says that Iowa Wrestling Fans know the sport and understand it better than any other fan base, so act like it.
Dumb thread.
