I'm a Grand View alum, and very proud to have wrestling at the school, and thrilled for the success the program has found. Only in its 4th year, and already the best program in the NAIA. The Coach is a Wartburg grad, so its really no surprise GV is having success on the mat.

having another avenue for kids in iowa to get scholarships helps a TON and there would be no reason to wrestler for grand view in my eyes if you obviously aren't a D1 caliber wrestler

Coach Mitchell is from Wartburg as previously stated and so are several of the assistants. Grant Turner from Johnston and ISU is another one of the assistants and does a good job with the guys also. Go Vikings.
