It looks like the seedings for the national duals involving Iowa will be,
Iowa
OregonSt.
IowaSt.
Virginia Tech
UNI
Wisconsin.
Now I know that 3vs6 and 4vs5. So, who will Iowa wrestle? I'm guessing the winner of 3vs6.

Wouldn't it be 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3.

Assuming that Iowa is seeded #1 they will face the winner of #4 vs 5. The 2 & 3 seeds will be on the same side of the bracket.

In the first round, seeds 1 and 2 will receive a bye with seeds 3 and 6 and 4 and 5 wrestling each other.

If Iowa is ranked #1 they'd go against the winner of 4v5..

The #2 seed will take on the winner of 3v6..

Brackets like that kinda "Assume" the highest seed will win.

So 2 would face 3 in the next round, essentially.

1 would face 4.. which would get back on track into a traditional bracket, so to speak.

I've always hated the word assume, but i'll take your word for it.
Matches will run at 11:00, 1:00, and, 3:00.
$25.00 Adult all session and $15.00 Student all session. Of the four regionals, IowaState charges the most.

ISU is 3-12 overall, 0-6 in Big 12. How are they ranked 13th nationally?

I like looking at WIN's Tournament Power Index. They have, Iowa 4th, OregonSt 16th, ISU 20th, VirginiaTech 24th, UNI 31st, and Wisconsin 50th. I also noticed that there is going to be a live blog from TOMS Open Mat starting at 11:00.

One of the things I noticed is that they continue to rank Spangler at 174# at #5. That's worth 10 points. Take that away and they would be ranked around 23 or 24th.

. I read on the mat that it looked like spanglers season is over.
