2011 Prospect Gabe Olaseni and 2012 prospect Georges Niang visited Iowa City this weekend, taking in Fran McCaffery’s Iowa basketball program.

Olaseni is a 6-11/230 pound forward from Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas while Niang is a 6-7 forward from Tilton, New Hampshire.

Olaseni holds known offers from Iowa, Mississippi and Auburn according to Rob Howe of HawkeyeInsider.com.  Olaseni’s high school coach has been on record saying Clemson is in the mix.   Niang has offers from Iowa, Iowa State, George Mason, UMass, Delaware and others, with Iowa and ISU being his major school offers.  Niang recently visited Ames and the Iowa State program.

Niang won’t be able to sign a binding letter of intent until November, but Olaseni can sign this spring and be eligible to play next year.  Olaseni is also a high school teammate of 6-9 forward Eric Katenda, a player Iowa has also offered for the class of 2011.
