Hawkeye Nation

With the Hawkeyes approaching No. 1 in some polls and already sitting at No. 1 in others, it’s a fun time to be a Hawkeye fan.

The football team made the Rose Bowl, but the men’s basketball team has already pushed them into the background of Hawkeye Nation’s collective consciousness. I would have thought someone crazy if they had predicted this last fall.

Jeff Goodman, ESPN:

Raphielle Johnson, NBC Sports:

Seth Davis trolls for fun, but he’s got the Hawkeyes ranked fourth, just one spot behind Maryland. Totally fair.

Seth Davis, Sports Illustrated:

So what’s coming up next?

Jon Rothstein, CBS Sports:

And what could be coming in March?

“Bracketologist” Joe Lundardi, ESPN:
