Iowa City, Iowa – Iowa Sophomore Tyler Cook was the first player chosen in Wednesday night’s Prime Time League Draft. He was followed by teammate Nicholas Baer, a junior.

Hawkeye sophomore point Jordan Bohananon, who like Cook was a member of the Big Ten all-Freshman team last season, came off the board at No. 3. Iowa’s Ahmad Wagner, a junior forward, and incoming freshman Jack Nunge were taken with the fourth and fifth picks, respectively.

The six-team summer league, which tips off it’s 31st season Sunday in North Liberty, will feature two Hawkeye scholarship guys per squad. Cook is joined by Dom Uhl, Baer is paired with Isaiah Moss, Ryan Kriener joins Bohannon, Wagner and Christian Williams will run together, Nunge is with Brady Ellingson, and freshman Luka Garza and Maishe Dailey, a sophomore, play on the same unit. Walk-on Connor McCaffery will not participate as he is finishing his baseball career at Iowa City West High.
