OFFENSIVE LINE

IOWA CITY, Iowa – We’re continuing on with our naming of the all-time team for Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz. Today we unveil the voting for top kickers and punters from the last two decades.

Without further ado, here’s the voting for the Hawkeye specialists.

KICKER

First Team

Nate Kaeding

Skinny: The Hawkeyes lone Groza Award winner during the Ferentz Era, the Iowa City West grad still sits atop the school’s all-time scoring list with 373 points. Kaeding was named a consensus first-team all-American and twice earned first-team all-conference honors.

Second Team

Marshall Koehn

Skinny: Koehn forever etched his name in the memories of Hawkeye fans with a 57-yard field goal as time expired in a win against Pittsburgh during the magical 12-0 regular season in ’15. The Solon product earned second-team all-Big Ten laurels as a senior and excelled on kickoffs.

First Team

Jason Baker

Skinny: Baker received a lot of work early in the Ferentz Era, when the offense was finding its footing. He showed the importance of the position in the coach’s complementary football philosophy and set a bar that has not been reached. He’s the schools all-time leader in punts and yardage.

Second Team

Ryan Donahue

Skinny: The Chicago product punted in 51 games during his Hawkeye career. Donahue was one of three finalists for the Ray Guy Award as a senior in ’10. He was all-Big Ten in four seasons.
